Terrence P Carroll, PhD
Terry has nearly 30 years of health care leadership and IT experience, including being the CIO at three academic medical centers. His experiences include leading large IT projects in complex organizations such as the implementation of advanced clinical systems with physician order entry (CPOE) with two different application platforms. He has extensive experience with Quality Management, Quality Management Information Systems (QMIS), IT organizational design, operations optimization, technical staff development and recruitment, and multi-disciplinary project design. Terry served as COO for Premier Sourcing Partners, where he was responsible for Premier’s IT consulting operations and a large IT procurement portfolio. He worked with a broad cross-section of healthcare organizations, assisting more than 80 hospitals and healthcare systems to improve the decision making for their IT investments, controlling IT costs and creating value using their IT assets. Terry has specific expertise as a technology futurist with a focus on harvesting organizational value from information technology investments. |
